1. Frigidaire by GM Dishmobile Gold Crown slanted top-loader, with jack-in-the-box racks...in white. (came with my house, now stored in garage and needs some restoration. It was operational when I switched it out for the newer Whirpool) 2. KitchenAid KUD J23 built-in. (Planning to make it my daily driver as a hard-plumbed, freestander...since my vintage 1940-50s cabinets are too shallow.) 3. Whirlpool DP840 mediocre portable. (Current daily driver.)
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
Early 60s Frigidaire refrigerator with a bottom freezer in turquoise.
1960s Lady Kenmore washer and dryer.

The KitchenAid dishwasher I bought today.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Harvest Gold appliance suite in the house I grew up in. I had some really great vintage refrigerators in apartments I rented over the years. I had no idea how cool they were at the time.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
I repaired the faucet connector to my vintage Frigidaire Dishmobile by Frankenstein-ing it with a part I found at Walmart. Repaired my clothes dryer with a penny and duct tape. Call me "McGyver"! (I am my Father's daughter.)
