The line is inaccessibile since it'sinside the walls of my appartement I don't see myself smashing walls but the seem to have an outide unit that I will check, It's a little picey for 217$ I guess for now I'll deal with a HOT dryer since I have to face a transmision rebuild for my washer... need...

I guess my wife was right.... She's been telling me this for the past 6 months but I wouldn't believe her.... So it needs a transmission rebuild? Were could I get the instructions? Or actually how much should it cost to do ? Thanks again

bad venting after all The condo I just moved in is brand new And I think that the venting was not planned for a 39 yo dryer The problem is that the duct is too long it starts from the ground behind the dryer then goes up about 8 feet goes throug a wall for almost 20 feet and finallt gets out...

and here's one last pic of the inside Am I just looking at rust or is there something else? I guess I should add that I am using the washer on a regular basis for the usual 4 to 6 loads a week my familiy requires. Is she getting to old for this? Thanks for your help again

Venting is ok Nothing is clogging the venting but I still removed the little lint that had accumulated on the sides I'll try to get a new thermostat and see what happens I'll let you guys know Thanks

thanks Cool so my dryer is from 1967! It has halo of heat written on it ! The filter in the back of the drum keeps falling off! Cool Now that I know it was built in october 67 I Hope I should be able to find the proper thermostat Thanks
