Speed Queen TC5000WN: Possible to Skip to End of Cycle?

OK, a month has gone by and I've just washed the bulky mattress pad again. And the "hold the start/pause button" method of skipping directly to Spin worked. I first did a "Delicate with Extra Rinse and Pre-Soak"; that gave me one wash and two rinses. I then re-engaged the "Delicate" with the...

Speed Queen TC5000WN: Possible to Skip to End of Cycle?

Wow! I answered my question years ago and have no memory of knowing that information! I'm almost more concerned about my lack of memory than solving this problem! :-) I look forward to trying that method to see if Rapid Advance works.

Speed Queen TC5000WN: Possible to Skip to End of Cycle?

    > When you just want it to spin, make sure you don't have extra rinse selected > when you select the spin cycle. When both are selected it will > fill, rinse, and then spin. Ahh, that makes sense. Thanks for the tip!

Speed Queen TC5000WN: Possible to Skip to End of Cycle?

I tried a Spin cycle only, but when I attempted it earlier today the tub filled with water for a few seconds (it was already full), then agitated at full speed which is not what I wanted. I'll see if that behavior happens again.

Speed Queen TC5000WN: Possible to Skip to End of Cycle?

Not surprising; thanks for the information. One question that is somewhat related. If I have a tub full of water/laundry and wish to quit the entire cycle, how do I get all the water out of the tub short of letting the cycle fully complete or bailing the water out of the tub?

Speed Queen TC5000WN: Possible to Skip to End of Cycle?

I have a Speed Queen TC5000WN washer and recently washed a very bulky mattress pad that completely filled the tub. This was done on the Delicate cycle/Extra Rinse so as to not damage the pad due to the agitator motion. I wished to rinse the pad one additional time (on top of the two previous...

    Speed Queen TC5000WN weird noise?

    >Emptying out the pump and rinsing it out seems to have resolved the issue. How did you do this?

What model is this KitchenAid Dishwasher?

What model is this KitchenAid Dishwasher?

I am considering the purchase of a KitchenAid dishwasher being offered on my local NextDoor for $75. The seller says they can't find the model number on it (which I must admit I am surprised at), that it has a stainless steel interior and that it works fine. Assuming the above is true, it would...

Anyone use ECO cycle on SQ series 8/9?

I have a Speed Queen TC5000 that was purchased early summer last year. This model also uses only a spray rinse for the rinse cycle when the ECO setting is selected. However, I found that if I also select the Extra Rinse option, not only do I get the extra rinse but BOTH rinses are a...

SQ TC5 Classic (TC5000WN): Any hacks to fill with LESS water?

I have a Speed Queen TC5 Classic and with only two people not generating a lot of clothing to be washed weekly, have found that many times, even with the smallest fill cycle selected (ECO), it fills more water in the tub than needed. Additionally, I am reluctant to do the occasional very small...

Speed Queen: Loophole in Federal Regs brought back classic TC5

    > Someone here with a TC5 says it fills with true warm or hot water on the N/E > cycle. Might have been me. On my TC5 with Normal/Eco cycle selected and Hot temperature selected, I get water temps to the full 120 degrees that my water heater is set at. I have no idea what water temps in the...

    SQ Poor rinsing

When in "ECO" mode, and with "EXTRA RINSE" selected, I get two full fill-up-the-tub rinses. With extra rinse NOT selected (i.e. "normal") it get one spray rinse only.

    SQ Poor rinsing

I have a SQ TC5 purchased this summer and get excellent rinsing using the "ECO" setting with "Extra Rinse" selected. Without Extra Rinse option, water is sprayed onto the clothing that is slowly spinning, the a spin cycle. WITH the Extra Rinse option, I get back-to-back full water fills with...
