Tell us about your collection
1 Maytag wringer, a dexter double tub wringer, a pink one that I inherited and haven’t gotten moved home yet and don’t know anything about it except it’s pink and it works but needs a new cord. I use the Maytag almost exclusively. Hubby is a farmer and the expensive pos HE doesn’t get his clothes clean. I love the smell of clean line dried laundry that I KNOW is clean! Also have 2 wood burning cook stoves.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I want a vintage but functional large gas cook stove.

Helping my grandma with the laundry
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Couldn’t get my farmers clothes clean when my old Maytag died and we bought a new HE washer. I hated it and dragged the old wringer out of the barn, plugged it in, and lo and behold it worked. Hosed it off and I’ve been using it for the last 4-5 years.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
No but I want to learn! Just starting to look for information.
