What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Messing around with our Indesit washing machine and watching it for 3 hours straight, then watching all available wash videos to no end!
When the indesit was scrapped I drew a prison with the old machine in it and hugged the new Samsung eco bubble washing machine still on the pallet with the wooden struts still in place and crying this is the best day ever
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Indesit for 7 years then broke, dad said pump got blocked and burnt up and then got Samsung eco bubble to replace it
Got Bosch dishwasher to fill ugly hole under work space in kitchen it broke so repairman was called, he said floor seal broke then ordered new dishwasher broke in a week, full refund and choice of new dishwasher got integrated dishwasher which was the wrong one we wanted normal one so he sent it back and bought the right one finally
Vax vacuum cleaner kept for 10 years then clogged and impeller bent so dad tried to fix it, ended up making lots of noise and breaking it so mum bought new vax hepa/animal vacuum
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Cleaned a filter of a washing machine on the street and found lots of coins in it and told the woman that was the problem and thanked me and took it back in and used it
Cleaned washing machine filters and got money for doing it
Washing machine had problem with timer and said 555 timer was the problem and scared the washing machine back into working condition
