A Western Holly oven with the round windows although I dont know where wed put it.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
I grew up with Avocado Green appliances which I always thought ugly but I lived with my older sister as a teen and they had an antique gas stove you had to light it with a match. It had native American Indian chief emblem on it in blue. I loved it.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I rented with my ex all my damn life so we didnt own major appliances. My improved husband and I designed and built our own tiny kitchen and I bought vintage appliances when it made sense.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
No....okay, once. We found we had a hook up for a washer in our former rental. We bought one used no knowing it didnt work and I literally spent hours every day wrenching on its giant, rusty nut in the bottom until it finally came loose.
