My Dad was driving home the other night and he spotted this Maytag on the side of the road at the bottom of a farm driveway with a "FREE WORKING" sign on it. You need to replace your motor glides and springs, possibly your belts as well. These parts are still all available. Liam

Great machine! I have a similar one. It could need new belts, or new motor glides and springs, or a new pump as the pump bearings stiffen up over time. However your transmission sounds quite noisy, and labored, It's probably time to clean it out and give it a nice fresh batch of Maytag oil. This...

On closer inspection your right, the washer is a non lighted model. Still a good machine though. Strange that the original owner bought the TOL dryer but went with the MOL washer. Liam
