What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Our Gala Automatic 1502 Top loader - the Gala brand was used for Hotpoint appliances in Ireland until the 1970s. One Gran had an ancient Speed Queen wringer washer from the 50s, the other a Gala Filtermatic (a Hotpoint Supermatic - bought for her by my Dad in 1968 when they got the 1502). Also Servis Supertwin 70s - loads of people we knew had those - nice machines
