What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I'm looking for a Plain Jane washer that simply cleans well and doesn't use a ton of water. My GE is junk.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
I remember watching Timex watches dangle in a Maytag agitator washer with clear sides. I also used a hand-pump portable washer when our children were young. And my mother-in-law's wringer washer easily handled 108 sheets and 108 pillowcases and all the bath towels that went with them - weekly, for years. The dryer was a trusty clothesline in the sun.
