I fixed up a 1974 Maytag DE306 for my mom. I told her when she's done with it I want it back.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
There are so many, but right now I really want a vintage portable dishwasher and a 1950s washer/dryer set.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Earliest: Spending time at my grandparents. Their house was full of vintage.
Favorite: Hunting for vintage appliances with my good friend Will (classiccaprice).
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I've had more recent stuff, but I've always loved 1930s-1970s stuff. You can't beat the quality.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
I do most of my repairs myself, but I do have friends I call for advice.
