What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Doing the laundry for my mother in her old Kenmore set (aprox 1984) and my father installing a Kenmore central vac system in the house. One time the dryer kept breaking the circut and I went to unplug it (was about 12) and somehow got my finger on the plug as I pulled it out. Yup it was a 220 line...
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
The Copperclad range came with the house. The matching parlour stove I found on eBay and drove from NJ to SD to pick up. The GE I found locally, and it only needed some touch ups. The Magic Chef was also a local find, but I took it apart and had the carbon rod thermostat restored. The E2LPS was in the scrap metal pile and I snuck it out (works perfectly and only has 1 chip). The Easy was a local Craigs list find. The KitchenAid dishwasher and mid 90s Whirlpool dryer came with the house.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
The Magic Chef, parts in both Copper Clads and recently minor things on the Easy.

Currently restoring a 1950 Westinghouse Laundromat!
