The 6” and 8” heating elements are both affected in one of the two RV-92’s. You can turn them on high and they don’t turn red with no pot on them and they don’t turn red with a pot on them.
They still heat, but both have a tough time boiling water quickly…which is very different than the other...
Is anyone familiar with the actual radiantube elements? I cooked a couple huge pots of hot sauce (5 gallon pots) on my fold backs.
Now they don’t heat all the way up… thoughts?
Thankfully no speed heat elements on the RV-92’s. And especially thankful for no heat minder-type thermostat.
Wonder if the problems with these features led to the product cycle end of the fold-backs
