Wow! The Frigidaire French door oven in our place was replaced with an early GE P7 self cleaning wall oven.

The 6” and 8” heating elements are both affected in one of the two RV-92’s. You can turn them on high and they don’t turn red with no pot on them and they don’t turn red with a pot on them. They still heat, but both have a tough time boiling water quickly…which is very different than the other...

Is anyone familiar with the actual radiantube elements? I cooked a couple huge pots of hot sauce (5 gallon pots) on my fold backs. Now they don’t heat all the way up… thoughts?

Thankfully no speed heat elements on the RV-92’s. And especially thankful for no heat minder-type thermostat. Wonder if the problems with these features led to the product cycle end of the fold-backs
