Hopefully it will be suitable and do the job - fingers crossed! Afraid I don't know the in's and out's of belt fitting to vintage Creda's - fairly good on their history, but useless with the practicality of repair. Hopefully someone else will be able to assist with that side of things...

Hi Adam. Its a Hoover D6526 Autosense Dryer, the budget dryer from the 'Logic' range, with that particular one being from around 1989 as it has the updated name font on the fascia. Hope that helps :-) Regards Paul

A bit more info. Just noticed that the 1985 to 1986 Catalogue image detailed the earlier range, so just nipped and looked at the Which consumer magazine from that year. The model in the image below is 'F812', possibly also known as 'F-812'. Model F8520 replaced the F812/F-812 circa 1986...
