Since i was in HVAC, I have some old Williamson equipment tags, and T-stat.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
The Williamson Oil-Saver oil furnace.. (it will be to big to keep in my house)
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
When my parents got the new GE Washer (78?) and thought that filter tray was cool!
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
My first new appliance was the White Westinghouse Gas dryer when I moved into an apt that had washer/dryer hook up.. It already had an old whirlpool washer.
We brought a house 4 years ago, it came with an old Maytag washer, I changed it out to a FridGEmore front loader washer.
A very cheap basic Estate electric dryer, that was changed out with a Maytag Neptune gas dryer.
Late 90sElectric coil top, was replaced with a Maytag gas convection oven.
Orginal 68 Chrysler Air-Temp, and 5 year York A/C, whos coil was shot from dogs peeing on it, that was replaced with a Trane XV90 Two stage variable speed furnace, and XR11 A/C matching with the Honeywell IAQ tstat.
Fridg is yet to be changed out, now its an Amana freezer top fridge in almond, will be replaced with a Maytag bottom freezer.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Ive gone to college for Heating and A/C, and Major Appliance repairs, went into HVAC Service for a couple of years. Now, Im a kitchen designer, and was in appliance sales before I became a designer.
