Maytag washer, dryer, and a GE (it was a gift) port/convert dishwasher. Then, in a category of its own, the Amana Radarange! The stove and fridge belong to me! Whirlpool gas range, Whirlpool bottom freezer refrigerator, bought new in March 2011. When I get a place with real space, watch out! I enjoy the collection pictures here.

Maytag AMP in good condition, Maytag A-208, and a lot more.

Some favourite things: Books, compact discs, Fiestaware (vintage or new). I like gift cards to Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Macys.....
Ive started to grab authentic, original CorningWare when I see it at yard sales, Goodwill, and similar places. Spice O Life, Blue Cornflower, Plain White, French White.....
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
My aunts Bendix Duomatic, my Grandmothers 1956 Kenmore...my Mothers 1964 Whirlpool Imperial. Another Aunts 1967 KitchenAid dishwasher- a Superba, in Copper, and our first Maytag dishwasher, a WC400 in 1973.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
At one time, I had a complete Maytag house, but right now, I live in an apartment, and my only owned appliances are the washer and dryer, dishwasher and Radarange! And the Whirlpool gas range and bottom freezer refrigerator.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Not yet. I really do not see myself as particularly mechanical. I love vintage appliances as industrial design, as earmarks of expectations and aspirations. I always look at the Picture Of The Day, and sometimes forward it to friends.
