What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I lost my beautiful GE two door fridges in a huge house fire. After the fire, we werent allowed to touch any of our belongings because everything was contaminated. I had to have my lovely fridge hauled away as toxic waste. I didnt get any of the parts off it, not the thermometer, the beautiful drawers, not the butter warmer. Alas. Now Im building an entire house at a whirlwind pace. Obviously, I design my kitchens around my vintage appliances. I have a 1941 chambers stove, but the problem is, I dont have a fridge to design around.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
I restored my chambers stove and purchased two matching GE two door fridges. One I managed to restore. The other became a parts fridge.
