Please help! Does anyone know if I can still safely use the oven in this condition?

My step dad acquired this gas stove/oven from his grandmother. The fire “grill” which heats the oven was turning on but the flames along the left kind of danced off and on. So I took it apart to clean it. In the process I u screwed this little L tube but then wasn’t able to screw it back on...
