I don`t shake anything but aerosol cans but I flip over the bottles of most liquid things like detergent, fabric softener and so on before use.
Of course products can contain chemicals to keep ingredients well suspended but I still feel better doing so just to be on the save side even if...
Tresori d`Oriente is an Italian Cosmetic or in US English better described as personal care brand.
Rather new to the market in Germany and I never knew they have laundry products as well.
Your post made me curious so I took a sniff on a bar soap when I was doing some purchases in a lokal...
So now there is a new problem showing up, a build up of limescale where the water is entering the tub as if the water inlet wouldn`t shut off completely.
"Nothing new is very reliable"
AEG invented the first dishwasher with alternating spray arms to save water and energy in the mid to late 1980`s so this "new" technology has been around for nearly 40 years.
This was after AEG whitegoods division went bankrupt and went to Daimler Benz (long...
Whenever other alternatives exist most Europeans consider anything plastic inferior, cheap and tacky. Be it dishwasher tubs, Tupperware containers or God forbid plastic tumblers (yuck).
Plastic attracts oils and soil and can emit nasties like plasticizers whereas stainless steel and glass are...
Didn`t even know that "Glanztrocknen" gives an additional rinse. Would have assumed it`s another word for "extra dry" via a higher final rinse temperature.
Think it`s time for an update.
I`m still in love with the new Miele and don`t regret my purchase at all.
Like others complained before I must confirm the wobbly control buttons feel and sound cheap and the toxic chemical stench that came from the inside of the wash tub is not what you`d expect...
Enjoy it! Soap making is quite fun, isn`t?
Well, made a few batches myself and enjoyed making it but didn`t care much for the soap.
I did the cold process method emulsifying the soap with a stick blender and calculated to some excess fat content but always found the outcome totally inferior...
Thanks again for all the helpful replies, 5 minutes ago the Miele did its first regenerating cycle. (What a relief... LOL)
A series of opening and shutting the water inlet while the pump runs continuously before the actual cycle starts.
First I had a talk on the phone with Miele which was...
Thanks Henrik!
It was an Online order to store pick up. (I`m cheap I know LOL)
Anyway I`m not in their loyalty program and it`s been more than 6 weeks ago so I have very little hope for an exchange.
Will give it another try or two and if there`s still no regeneration will have to do something...
Henrik, It`s a G 5110 and yes it has the filter in the center of the sump.
No AutoOpen and I purposely choose it for it`s D energy rating to still get higher last rinse temperatures which should improve drying and overall hygiene because tend to use lower temp wash cycles for dishes quite often...
Mark unfortunately I don`t have any test strips on hand and currently also using all in one tabs, so I couldn`t even tell from the look of the dishes.
But great idea and I`ll pay extra attention to the final minutes listening for an open water valve.
Ok, I´ll give it more time and keep an eye on it. Maybe it`s just way more economical than expected.
Currently it has done a 2nd cycle with hardness set on 70°dH and still no regeneration. My water hardness is only around 18°dH but my impatience made me set it to 70°dH. LOL
I find the results...
After 22 years my old Bosch decided to no longer heat the water and to be honest I was glad it did so I could finally justify a new dishwasher. (That`s the downside if you can do minor repairs yourself)
Got a BOL Miele and while it seems to be a tad louder than the Bosch I like really like it...
