It has got to be some die cast aluminum, zinc, etc alloy. It seems nearly all modern front loaders have these, and so many of them corrode and fail. The spiders on the outside of the drum, the one that holds the bearings are cast iron, i cannot seem to find any inner drum spiders for any front...
