Thanks Thanks! I ALWAYS rinse with cold water! Also, the right side (where the mold is) only lets in cold water, its the right side that does hot water and soap. Left side is no soap and cold ONLY. Could the absence of soap be the reason for the mold?

This is the reason I got rid of my TOL Kenmore Elite's and replaced them with Miele. It got to a put where I was just putting everything in the bottom racks because the top wasn't cleaning. I wonder how the new Whirlpool wash system works... Did not consider even looking into anything but Miele.

Hello, according to my manual, my dishwasher only rinses once after the main wash when set to Normal. Is this possible? It also says that in Express, SaniWash and Economy, there is no pre-rinse/wash. Is this possible? Thanks
