Richard, how is the washing machine now? I have a VisionHD 9kg machine (vhd9143zd 80). 9 months old and it too has started to smoke. Could you let me know more about how you researched the motor. I have an engineer coming onver on the 9th, could do with some info before he calls over. Cheers
