What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I love the Servis Superheat - my Mum had one of those. Remembered its chunky mechanics and its solid British-Thomson-Houston motor and the smell of warm oil in the motor/gearbox area where the wringer was stored.

What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Maintained all of our appliances at home while growing up and also earned pocket money as a teen going on my bike fixing washers and hoovers for neighbours and relations. Lots of memories I will be looking forward to sharing on this site.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Worked summer 1990 in London, while off from college, at Kevlin Service Centre in Bradmore Park Road, Hammersmith reconning Hoover upright vacs and traded-in Hoover washing machines. Kevlin were a major Hoover agent in London that time. Worked at a Nilfisk dealer in Limerick from 1987 to 1989 before returning to college.
