Kitchenaid KDS-20 in excellent condition, a nice Speed Queen washer and dryer and a nice Dacor range.

Mom's late 1960's Kenmore dishwasher with the wood "cutting board" top
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
I've had only whirlpool and Kenmore since I moved out of parents home in 1998 with the exception of the newest retro KDC-20A. I once picked up a Kenmore portable dishwasher being thrown out. The owner said it leaked and all it needed was a pump seal. I used it for about 4 years and then gave it to my F-I-L who still uses it.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
I've installed pump seal kits, solenoid valves and heating elements in dishwashers. Igniters, motors, bearings, belts, temp switches, and drum seals on gas dryers. I try to maintain all my appliances myself.
