What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?

I always watched my granny and my mother wash in wringers,and I have always been fascinated with them ever since. I did not get into automatics until I found this site a couple of years ago.

What is the history of appliances you have owned?

My 1956 kenmore automatic has spent its life in Pimlico S.C where it was used by its first owners for 50 years. Now it is retired and resides with me.
