What are your dream machines yet to be found?
Turquoise or pink Westinghouse frontloader laundromat and dryer, Dexter Twin Tub, holy grail: 1947 Whirlpool "jeep" automatic washer. Also love the 40s Bendixs
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
1950 Magic Chef gas range and Westinghouse front loader washer, Dixie gas range and a pink GE fridge with spin out shelves. I had a monarch electric/wood combo range for years that I raised a family and heated a house with. Also a Arvin suitcase fan (parents wedding present) was the first appliance I fixed.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Washer and dryer came w the house, mangle bought by me from a man whose mom used it every tuesday (mon was wash day) Mangle from auction house. A ge ball top fridge and hotpoint stove on legs that I set up my first apt with.
