    Rinsing Out Detergent Measuring Cups

We usually throw the caps in the last load of the day. Here a picture of our setup. We are refilling the jugs,. I had bought the one for the Lysol Sanitizer and decided to get two more for Snuggle and Tide after the real Tide one got a crack in it.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS - Please Read This...

Reply #46 Dave, I supported both sides, AW and Vacuumland. My paid membership on Vacuumland expires on September 1 and AW in 76 days. Right now, my Vacuumland says I have Premium Upgrade and I see all kinds of ads which are quite annoying. The Premium Upgrade shows only one option and it's...

    Vacuumland

I agree. I did finally get in. I had to use the forgot password option. I knew my password but once I changed it, I got in. I'm not sure if I like the format. I do know, I was I paid member and it still says I am until September, but I get all kinds of ads.

    New electric stove

I would be third for GE, I have had 3 GE's since 1984. All self cleaning/Convection. One coil type and the 2 smooth tops. I loved the smooth tops the best, easiest to keep clean. My next will probably induction. The first three pictures are the range in my house in Pennsylvania, the last two...

Kitchenaid KDS-14 in Stainless, near Philadelphia

What a treasure. If I still lived in PA, I would go for it. Springfield was not too far from where I lived.

    Fast "High Speed" Burners

Dave, my mother in-law's Frigidaire front left was a high speed 6 inch element. My 14 year old GE Profile, has the front left dual element 6" and 9" labeled as "Power Boil" 3,100 watts. It is my go to burner so it gets used hard. That is my GE cooktop picture and the full range is very...

    Is this a Bobload?

Great job Ryne. My Bosch can handle a lot more. I use Auto cycle and Sanitize and either one Finish Quantum Max For Hard Water or Cascade Platinum Plus pod.

    New Electrolux dryer

Steve we did the same thing. We bought a GE set. Our 14 year old Whirlpool Duet washer broke last fall and we replace it with a GE.   Florida had a no tax season then so got a good deal. Decided to hold off on the gas dryer. Today to beat the tariff, we got the dryer. This is the picture off the...

    Gillette MACH3 Blades

Here is my shaving routine. I use Supply single edge mostly. Love it more than my Gillette Proglide I use the proglide and my Phillips one blade for trimming. I find the single blades shave nicer with less irritation and bumps.

Conventional electric ranges: the phase-out begins?

If this may be the trend. I will need to start saving up to replace my 15 Calphalon Professional cookware pieces. There are all aluminum and don't work on induction.

    Made Mashed Potatoes

They look really good. Back when I lived in Pennsylvania (Sounds like a Rose Nyland quote) My in-laws would go to a potato farm and get a 50 pound bag of freshly dug potatoes and share some with the families. they were the best for mashed, salad, scalloped. I miss that.

It's That Time Of Year Again! What Is Your AC Thermostat Set To?

We leave our AC set at 76 all year. The few time we have used the heat, wich has been maybe 3-4 times in the 13 years we lived here in Fl it's 68 and leave it on maybe for an hour. Our Average electric bill for a 2000 sq. ft. house with 20 ft ceilings is $308 a month. 4 TV's, 2 fridges, most of...
