Unfortunately, I don't remember anything about the dishwasher. I also found an old Maytag wringer type washer in the attic, and I can remember my grandmother using it. However, the diswasher was a complete surprise. As I said in my original post, we did have a kaiser automobile around 1954...

When recently cleaning out my mother's attic, I discovered a Kaiser dishwasher. I can only make out part of the serial number (DI-300), but would like to find more information on it. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the dishwashers may have been given away when buying a Kaiser automobile...
