Vintage Chambers Magnawave MIC-36 touch control Induction Cooktop, several Electrolux induction cooktops, several Fisher-paykel dish drawers, multiple 12" compactors various brands made by Broan, Electrolux Icon refrigerators, Vintage 1972 Sub-Zero 36" under counter fridge/freezer with ice maker, various others nearly all working and many in use, and yes I have a new Samsung in a vacation home, its actually very nice but I hate using it because its gas.I would have preferred induction but didnt have the power budget for it.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
The Touch-N-Cook Frigidaire stove has always been a favorite of mine, as well as the CT2 induction cooktop, which I only saw in a home for sale once.
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Touch control washing machines from the 80s, Amana Radar Ranges, and a house we rented in the 80s had a freestanding stove with a microwave in the oven, basically a microwave convection oven. Seemed like a great idea but you didnt have a microwave if something was already in the oven. We had a high end push button Frigidaire Custom Imperial washer/dryer set in a cream yellow color, which I have since learned was a 1965 model, with the up/down agitator, it was given to us as it was noisy, it was fascinatingly different from everything else and very well built, It moved to Africa with us in the early 80s we sold it to other Americans neighbors there when we moved in 1985
