love to have an old style Hotpoint like i grew up with, a 95360. Always liked my Nans old washing machine and never remembered what it was, thought id dreamt it but since being a member on here ive discovered it was an old zanussi/hotpoint liberator model, i remember the little black door handle on it and never being able to open it as a little kid...probably for the best

-as above, and knowing our old Hotpoints movements and sounds back to front, i diagnosed that machines faults without even looking at it on a number of occasions!!

-Hotpoint 95360, Asko 10504, Hotpoint Ultima (2002 range...hated it, complete pile of cr*p and the beginning of the death of the REAL Hotpoints!!) Miele Distinction 3000
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
-not personally, but as a kid i could tell when our machine, or any of those belonging to our friends/family were going wrong in some way, this resulted in me having the piss ripped out of me on a few occasions, until the machines totally packed up and then i could act all smug....not that i would ;-)
