Frigidaire went bad after wci pulled out from GM at the end of 1980. They bought Frigidaire in 1979 but kept the appliances outsourced for awhile. It was the worst disaster in appliance history. WCI paid 125 million to flush it down the toilet! Peter

Ken these in the jpg are later models we had the portable with 2 buttons. It was a good machine but loud. The joke of it was it said whisper quiet on the front panel. Peter

Those Hotpoint's are beautiful. We had Hotpoint but it was the BOL model. They washed very well, but weren't the most reliable machines.
