06-11-2013 update! Finally got a 1965 Custom Imperial washer/dryer set!

What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?

-When I was a kid, I was fascinated by appliances! Mostly washers and dryers with a lighted control panels and dishwashers with rapid-advance timers and cycle lights! Two things we didnt have at home! And I still like them now that I have a few!
