soak i would go for a good 40 minute with intermittent agitation activating from time to time to make sure the detergent and soaking product go into the fabric stain @Chetlaham
I do not know why but when remembering my grandmother on my dad side of the family i always found it strange that it had this particular agitator even do it was a 3 cycle push to start 5 wash rinse temp single water level high rather then the agitatror in pic 2 how i wish there where online pic...
i think hot cold would be perfect for white perm @chetlam with 2 cooldown like on vintage washers fills hot for start of wash first cooldown fill could be warm then second cool down with slow agitation washer fills with cold water making sure there is no wrinkle in the fabric and line dry
i so agree i use this model washer once in 2008 to wash one of my shirts that was high color bleed on perm press at my grandmother place when she was still alive and own the place i would of merge the hand wash cycle and delicate and put an agitation wash spin speed selector and i adore
