-We have a 96 Magic Chef almond fridge, 98 Magic Chef gas range, 72 Frigidaire Cycla-Matic fridge, 04 Whirlpool dishwasher which replaced a 76 Ge dishwasher, and a 98 Maytag washer and dryer set w/ suds saver. In May 2010 I acquired a Maytag A806S built 3/71 and a Maytag DE606 built 2/70. I bought the pair for $60 from a young kid who wanted something "more modern". I acquired a Maytag J2L circa 1961 in March 2011. She has a few miles on her, but she has quite a few left in her! lol November 2012, I acquired a Maytag N2L from the original owner. Serial no. says it was built circa 1962. April 2013, I now have added a 1961 Whirlpool wringer machine to my small, but functional collection. This my first wringer with a pump, and I love it!

-My grandmas bronze colored Monarch gas range and matching GE fridge circa 1964
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
-My wringer washer was purchased by my maternal grandparents in 1950 at the start of the Korean conflict. My grandfather was afraid that they would stop making appliances again like during WW2. So, the washer sat in the corner for 6yrs. before my grandma needed to start using it. This was after her other Speed Queen quit for good.
