Back when, which was considered the higher end of the two brands? GE or Hotpoint? My guess is GE, but both have a pretty high "flash" quotient on their products. Did this apply across the line - ranges, refrigerators, washer/dryer, etc.? Thanks

Can anyone offer info on where to get replacement pads or covers for a Bendix Automatic Home Ironer? I have one at home that was temporary quarters to some mice and I think it might be best for smell and hygiene to replace the pad before using it. Cover's washable, but the batting/pad...
