What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?

I had a small gas engine from a Mongomery Ward Washing machine that used a foot pedal to start it - like a motor cycle kick-starter. Loved to play with that and always dreamed I would put it on a go cart, but life moved on and never did.

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?

I've worked on everything we've owned (well except an old Maytag washing machine that just never quit)
