What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Earliest memory was burning my hand on the waffle iron. Best memory was getting a microwave after it FOT from my dads work.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Many vacuum cleaners including Hoovers, Eurekas, Kirbys, the one you put the water in, Roomba, and finally the Shark which is by far the best.
I can remember having a range that the front 2 burners pulled out. I have mostly had Kenmore major appliances, but the new husband came with Frigidaire in black. I love the gloss black. Recently I found my turquoise 1959 Maytag set which I use now. It cleans so much better than the new sets.
I also use an antique Sunbeam toaster and a 70s Presto electric fry pan.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Yes, unfortunately I am the plumber of the family. It includes appliances for some reason.
