PassatDoc -- I agree with you regarding the Frigidaire front loaders.... Some of the units I've looked at are almost massive when stacked..... I don't think that height wise they would even fit into the spot i'll have for the laundry. Kind of like the the GE badged frigidaire front loaders I saw...

Toggle -- this is a new model that i've been looking at... definitely a whirlpool based unit but very sharp> Nice silver colored control panel and good features.... you can see it on the Maytag internet site as well as on the Home Depot site. I like the maytag unit because of the look, but...

washerfanatic, thanks for the input... I would NOT get the frigidaire top loader...I was interested in one of the front loader units...... I am intriqued, however, by the Maytag...Looks sharp! Exactly what recomendations do you have for loading a maytag/whirlpool.

I'm in the market for a stacked Laundry -- I'm moving to a new townhouse and the laundryroom only has space for a stacked unit. Right now I'm considering the new Maytag/Whirlpool stacked unit or perhaps a Frigidaire or Speedqueen stacked set. I would appreciate any input/information anyone can...
