    another article by sheer (geddit!) chance I came upon another 'asparagus' article which I had saved from an earlier edition of The Saturday Telegraph. I had to foreshorten it by about 8mm to fit on the scanner, but all the text is there. Hope it is helpful.

    Keeping a dishwasher clean

    Just wondered...does anyone here run their dishwasher 'empty' from time to time or with a dishwasher 'cleaner' (I've seen these products in the supermarket but never bothered) In my clothes washer manual (1988) it suggests running the machine empty once in a while...anyone do this?
