polkanut I'm sure it can although the agitation is soooo gentle. It's a beautiful aluminum casting, quite well finished and looks fairly stout. There's no curvature to the fins, they are straight out but nicely rounded on edges. I like all the extra holes they put in it. eric

I haven't read the whole thing but noticed regular references to Rinso. There's also 'helpful hints' and 'how to's that would be useful. I like the one recommending the use of carbon tetrachloride for cleaning. I suppose they could buy it by the jug back then. The graphics are so quaint too...
