1957 GE 'P' series automatic washer;
and, matching dryer for above would be nice;
Late 50's or early 60's NORGE burpilator--any model
What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Watching Grandma's '57 GE, and a NORGE that would dim all the lights upon spinning.
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
Several Kenmores and GE's including a wonderful '63 Kenmore 37,000btu gas dryer I had to leave in California and an 18lb Filter-Flo than I ran into the ground as a daily driver.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Yes, worked in appliance repair in the '70's when I was in school--where I was exposed to lots of old-school machines. I have subsequently done repairs and restorations for myself, friends and family--and out of general interest.
