Banned the wd40 ten years ago, never unblocked any bolts with that useless product.
Now I use a 50/50 blend of acetone and ATF Dexron II, cheap and easy to make and always a success.
Brandt Statomatic BX541GR, looks like an export model since it has symbols instead of French writings, maybe the GR in the model number stands for Greece.

The Thomson looks like an S30-55, very simple machine, so simple as the on/off switch is door safety switch !
