broiler reflector Thank you for the name and the fast responses. Do I remove it when I'm not broiling? I've felt like my oven doesn't release the heat well through the back burner and I wonder if this has been the problem always having the reflector in there.

I have a metal pan that sits above the broiler element at the oven ceiling and below the hole for the heat to escape out. Am I suppose to remove this when not broiling? Or is this removeable only for cleaning ease? Attaching vid that shows briefly the pan.
