Would love any Hotpoint top loader (tub type; 15- and 96- series) but that may well be an impossible dream.

Grannys Hotpoint top loader from circa 1980 - facinated by the Filter Clean Tray.
Boilwash nappies in the Kelvinator.
Mum spinning pullovers in the Morphy Richards spin dryer, draining into a copper waste basket.

What is the history of appliances you have owned?
WASHERS
Hotpoint WM12 at the parents (1996 to present - its now with ME!
2 Proline W850 washers (I must be cursed); firstly in 2002 and then from 2004 - 2010
Bosch WFB1600 washer 1999-01 (a fave)
Hotpoint 9510 washer 1986-96 - classic but too basic for my liking
Candy 600 spin 1985-86 (iffy bearings)
Kelvinator 500 spin (1976 ish to 1985) - too young to remember much about it apart from the wood-effect facia
DRYERS
Whirlpool 5kg 2001-ish (why the jerky drum movement?)
Creda Compact 1999 (given to my sister but she has worn it out, cheeky madam!)
Hotpoint TS12 1998 (with the parents)
Hotpoint 1730 Liberator Dryer E (1979 to 1998, coincided with my arrival, best instruction book pictures ever: crying sheep advising not to tumble dry wool)
Also had a taster of a couple of other Hotpoint 95-series, Hoover Logic 1200 and Electron 1100 (and Performa 1200); Zanussi from 1998, 2006 Indesit 1200 spin and can just about recall my Aunts Hotpoint 9600 top loader in action.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
Not really - minor repairs e.g. brushes once on the 9510
