Watching my Grandmothers front loading Bendix washing machine do its thing!
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
My General Electric Kitchen Center was part of an exhibition I curated for the University of Houston in 2006. I borrowed it from a friend I lost contact with. I still had her land line phone number, called it and she answered. She happily agreed to let me borrow it. After the exhibition was over, she felt the Kitchen Center needed to be with me so we struck up an agreement and I purchased it.
The pink RCA Whirlpool washer and dryer was purchased for us by a friend in 2000 while he was visiting Palm Springs, CA. He happened to be there with a moving truck and transported them back to Houston for me.
