    AEG Heater failure

Not the first time... I'm seeing this quite often...AEG is "supposed" to be a premium brand, but not with premium quality! They are only expensive Zanussi machines! I think there is many reasons the heater breaks like that, but the main reason is a combination of not using the 90/95* cycle as...

    Miele Washer Woes

It sounds like Miele's common tone when beeing confronted with work they dont like...remembering when I was working there..it way a BIG no-no working on washer dryer combo's...and work on machines older than say 15 years was priced in a way they KNEW the customer wouldnt do it. If a customer...

    Asko W8844XL

Asko will remain the same, as Gorenje want to use the Asko's as their premium brand. The only thing I dont like, is that the design on the Asko dryers is changed, and the new ones is not as good as the old ones. This was done when they developed the new Asko heat pump.

    Asko W8844XL

Tought you maybe wanted some pics of the fairly new Asko 11kg washer. Was working on this, cause the customer was saying it had a leak..and it had. The connection between the tub and detergent compartment was bad, and the doorseal was damaged by some fabric. Despite they are made by Gorenje...

    Who makes this?

I would say Arcelik in Turkey...the same that makes Beko, Grundig and other cheapy brands...or made in China, like the cheapest Zanussi and Matsui..

    Miele Washer Woes

motor removal I can tell the motor on these are really heavy, but they're not so difficult to remove as stated here...! Did a brush replacement on a WS5406 when I was a trainee at Miele Norway in 2008/09, and it wasnt bad experience... Good to here you were trying to fix it yourself

    AEG öko_lavamat 981 dillema

Yeah, it might be, but strange if it starts to get warm before it trips the fuse. If it's a short in the element, it should trip as soon as it switches on the heater.

    found an ASKO 6461 WM50

Did you get it? In my opninion, the W6461 is one of the most reliable of the W-series until 2007. As an technician for Asko, I've only replaced control board ONCE! Worn brushes is normal after ca 10 years normal/hard use, and pumps almost never. Had a W6461 and a T741C dryer for a few years...

    AEG öko_lavamat 981 dillema

Hi! Long time no see. The cable isnt burned, it's the signalcable to the motor controller covered in brush dust. Does it heat the water? If so, check how many Amperes it uses. If it is a 230V model(I expect that), most of those good old ones have double heating element, with both 1950W and a...

The machines in the pic is 2 of 3 daily driver's...the third one is of course the Zanker 502TS that I've had for almost 10 years now. The right pair is from 1993, top of the line, 20003 washer and 7703 dryer. Love them! The left pair is from 2007, barely used until I got them ca a year ago...
