Thrift store find. GE P11FP4 My hoover died and have been looking for a replacement. Found this today.. It runs, but is really nasty, moldy smelling under the brushes. How do I get these brushes off? Any help is appreciated. Sorry about the fuzzy pics.

Hum,,, Last standard size washer I had was a 1985 filter flow. In that I would think 7 or 8. My maytag had a super size tub so I can't use that to compare. So 8. In a standard size tub.

Have you Checked for drafts Is the hot air all at ceiling height? If you have ceiling fans change their direction to force air down. That heat is somewhere. Check windows for cold air leaks. Also door leaks. Around outlets on exterior walls. For windows I use sheet plastic and painters tape...
