What are your earliest and favorite appliance memories?
Norge(parents) washer,Kenmore washer dryer (grandmother-machines very old) I liked watching them works as a Child-Also one of our freinds had a blackstone washer with the front doors that open up to the works inside-watched this as a kid-better then TV!!)
I was fascinated with watching the machines work as a kid. I also collect vacuum cleaners-specailize is kirbys.
I have sevral filter queen and electrolux. Found your site while looking up material on vacuums-I stopped and looked-very interesting!
What is the history of appliances you have owned?
-Primarily Kenmore,Whirlpool.Most of the others I have used were provided by the apartment house landlords or their laundry services.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any major appliances?
-Yes-repair boradcast and other electronic equipment-collect and fix vacuum cleaners-have done repairs to major appliances-such as replace timers,ETC. Also collect and restore vintage hi-fi and other similar equipment.
