Elux
I use a flashlight to watch my lg too, if i got another front loader it would have a light, every washer out there that has a light can be turned on during the cycle why electrolux doesnt? Seems stupid to me.... Isnt that the whole reason for buying a machine with a light in the first...
Light
It just seems silly to spend over 1k on a machine and the light can't even be activated (when the outgoing model could be) other machines out there all have lights that csn be turned on ie lg whirlpool ge and electrolux's own frigidaire line, obviously you do not watch the machine like...
New electrolux
Saw these on display at sears, very nice, except i dont see any button where you can turn on the interior light while the wash cycle is in progress, thats a deal breaker for me, i think older e lux's you held down the rinse/spin button for 3 seconds?
Tide
The mountain spring poweder does not smell like the old original, it smells more like the "clean breze" scent in a way i guess, (not mountain spring if u ask me) i also used the old smaller scoop from a box of older he powder and tossed the new scoop, i also used about half of a scoop with...
Found this at the store, i have been waiting for pg to finally make a universal non sudsing detergent especially in the mountain spring scent, although it's too little too late since they changed the scent already, used it in the lg front loader and no exsessive suds. I bet their liquids will...
Alpine breeze
Proctor and gamble already discontinued the alpine breeze scent, it was replaced by tide "original" scent yuck, i wish pg would leave scents alone.

The woman that i bought the house from was the daughter of the original owner who had the house built in 51, she said every year she had them come and clean/check the furnace and flush the wayer heater.
So i just bought a house and it has this water heater, gas 40 gallon, i'm guessing from the early to mid 70s still works! I am thinking about replacing it soon though because of it's age, although all the new tanks are garbage compared to this.
So i recently bought a 1951 brick bungalow and this was left by the previous owner, date on manual says 1981, looking to sell if anybody is interested, ( partner wanted a new LG) turned on the coldest setting and 2 hours it reached temp (bet a modern fridge couldn't do that!)
Kitchen
The floor is a traffic master peel and stick, it's in rough shape, the floor is the only thing not original, i will take more pictures tomorrow, the house is a brick bungalow built in 1951
Just bought a house which has the original kitchen and in good shape, bought the house from daughter of original owner which took great care of the house, just thought i would share a pic, the faucet and sink are my favorite, this kitchen is the reason i bought the house lol
Ok so my partner and i just bought a house and this refrigerator was here, i'm guessing 1980's not sure where the model number is just thought i would share a picture of it, we bought a new LG for a daily driver but might keep the GE in the basement.
