The blade brake clutch could be a good safety feature mowing on hills in case you fell. It's also fun to freak out neighbors and nice that it doesn't shut down every time you let go of the handle.
Honda!
Volvoguy, I have the exact honda you have in the link, it's going on its 5th summer with no problems at all. I bought it from my local honda power equipment dealer. The reason I got this one was because my parents got the older version of that mower when I was 14, um that's 30 years...
Stihl 4-mix
I just got a new Stihl backpack blower. It uses Stihl's new 4-mix technology. See link. It uses 1:50 oil gas mix like a two stroke, but is a 4-cycle so it has very low emissions and all the power and torque of a two stroke. It's pretty cool, you don't smell like two stroke...
I actually have two Ranaii water heaters hooked up in series and they communicate with each other. When the demand is more than one can handle the other kicks in. I have four bathrooms and have never had an issue with not having enough hot water even with the dishwasher and washing machine...
I understand the concept of the tempering valve but wonder about the efficiency. My new Ranaii instant water heater clearly states that it is much more efficient to use only hot water heated to the temp you need, vs. heating hotter and tempering. There is a remote in my master bath that you...
I grew up with a gas maytag 1968 Avacado green dryer. I was born in 1970 and that dryer lasted until 2002 when my parents finally sold that house. Who knows it may still be going somewhere. It only ever had one service call to replace the thermocouple on the pilot light. I do remember my mom...
My miele's clean machine cycle is a violent affair. It takes temperature up to 70C and uses quite a big of water and spins the ever loving crap out of the inner drum. Water violently splashes all different directions. Not a chance any scummy residue is left after that.
4 wheel drive
Why don't they just teach that every car, SUV, truck, whatever has 4 wheel stop. Yes, 4 wheel stop, brakes on each wheel. No one has an advantage at stopping. The only advantage 4 wheel, or all wheel drive has is that it gets you going more quickly in slippery situations...
Anybody notice the millisecond delay between flipping the light switch on and led's coming to life? I've changed over quite a few and definitely prefer the led over the cfl.
Ugh, don't want to hear this. I just got the F63 for the first time the other day. I power cycled it and it's been just fine for a few weeks since. How did your F63 start?
Again, the way you overcome the temperature rise, or delta T needed with an instant water heater is to have them in series. I'm in NC so my cold is never really cold, so I just have one Ranaii - it can deliver 12gpm of 140 F water as long as there is propane in my tank and water from the city...
I have had excellent luck with Sterns and Foster. Learned a long time ago how to cross shop for mattresses. So you see one at Macy Bed that is called the "edgemont". They will price match with everywhere, but you can't find it anywhere. That's because the manufacturers work with retail and...
It occurred to me the other day that I'm not sure what happens when my dryer above goes into its reverse tumble during the cycle. Does anyone know what happens to the fan? I'm assuming it does not run backwards, but then again, maybe it does. It's a squirrel cage fan so, it probably doesn't...
