This stuff leaves a faint scent of bleach, mostly as it dries. Just started the second load of dishes today with it.

Well, I did run a load of towels in the SQ for the first time WITHOUT anything in the rinse, and I didn't notice a difference between that and the first load I did WITH the stuff.
I considered retrobrite for the knobs, I'd probably go for the full immersion in peroxide method rather than the paste and Saran Wrap one, but still what a bother, involves a lot of sunlight exposure, or buying some UV lamp. I'll probably eventually just put new ones on, as I can still get...
My other pet peeve is a detergent that doesn't also clean the inside of the dishwasher. I'm sure many will disagree, but if the internals of the dishwasher are exposed to the sam amounts of detergent, heat, water rinsing and so on, I can't actually understand why they shouldn't also come clean...
I will say that if you have more sensitive skin, and you want to be absolutely certain there's no residue, add either vinegar, or preferably something like Downey Rinse+Refresh or some other acidic rinse additive. I started, by recommendation here, using plain vinegar, until I started seeing...
I like a faint scent of bleach when I open the dishwasher when it’s done, and then no smell of any kind. If the dishes have any scent to them at all, I feel like I’m using soapy dishes and it triggers all sorts of things.
I love liquid Laundersol, seems to clean everything, and leaves absolutely no reside that I can detect, and has absolutely no smell. What perfumes I'm not allergic to I find sensorially overwhelming.
I use something called Machine Dishwashing Compound or something like that, Its identical to Bubble Bandit, but comes in a big bucket. I order it when I order my Laundersol. I also use usually Jet Dry along with that. I'll sometimes use a liquid Cascade in the pre-wash.
So far I have them steam cleaned, and running. I really quite like this machine, and its matching dryer. I almost like this more than the newer ones I've used.
The easiest answer for when any company went bad, really, is when did some private equity group or other corporate conglomerate buy it and begin milking the company for its cash, while also doing nothing to grow or improve the company and its products.
The one thing I haven’t taken a pic of yet that I find most appealing about this model, having seen them for sale with more pictures before, the inside looks more like one of the hardmount machines than the regular front loader, all metal with the vanes being formed of the same sheet of thick...
It was really clean until we smeared it up with dirty handprints loading them up while it was snowing. The inside is still spotless, the guy selling it has a shop there where he works on tests and cleans them up, had a line up of hookups on a wall that looked like some of you guy’s basements, a...
I'll get a picture of both labels when we get the dryer up there in the morning. The washer's serial starts with 0509, so it's roughly the same age as the sets its replacing LOL. But the machine was gone through, and has a newer pump in it as well. So it wasn't just a used set being sent off...
